Navigate to your best life
Last week, I shared another Caturday reading for all, inspired by Dexter Murdermittens (see below) that reminded me just how the cards can support a bad day.
When I offer collective readings, I do my best to keep my own path out of it. My intention is to give a reading that relates to a meaningful message my community needs to hear. Over time, it slipped my attention to listen to these messages for myself.
Well, the day after posting this reading, I lived out the cards, and was reminded of the poignant ways these archetypes can resonate.
After hustling to the river on a hot day, loading my car with boats and floats to share with friends, I finally got to the calm part of the stream. After a busy week, wisdom might have suggested to slow down and take in the restful moment. My Tower card, however, often presents in doing too much at once.
Instead of resting and relishing, I took my phone out to take a photo and show off my new cell phone flotation dry bag. Realizing the device was inside the wrong way, I opened the bag.
My car key , also inside, flew into the river
. I reached out in a panic, dropping my now unprotected phone into the very wet boat.
The only key to my car was gone, and my phone was soaked. My day off seemed ruined. Embarrassed and disappointed, I felt awful enough to bring to the surface a sadness that I couldn’t access before. My Moon card emerged
… a grief that I have been avoiding by staying too busy showed up full force (another Tower of mine).
The home I grew up in and have known my whole life was just sold as my parents move out of state. Suddenly, it hit me how sad I was about this sentimental loss. 😢
As I recognized that message from the cards the day before, I put together that this Tower Card moment had opened up my Moon Card subconscious need. Remembering the 3rd card, I looked for a 9 of Cups to be grateful for and help heal this day.
The 9 of Cups appeared in my friends. They listened as I had a big sob about far more than the key and the phone. 😭They each held one knee as we floated along while I wept.
Other peopele on the float called AAA for me (so glad I have this service!), some figured out logistics to get my gear home, one stranger told me a story of a time she made a similar foible. I felt allowed to be in my heart’s moment.
Luckily, my cell phone was easily replaced with a new quality phone for only $30 with a special offer! I was able to get a new key made. Things sorted themselves out. I see these blessings as a sip from the 9 of Cups as well.
And, I was reminded to listen more closely to the collective readings.
I’ve also remembered to stay more present with my own grief, and listen more closely to the subconscious feelings that hide in the shadows of the moon.
I hope you find the silver lining in challenges this week. Mercury Retrograde is over, but it’s lessons can live on for our benefit.
If you’re bumping along on a rough river, 🛶 or want to keep sailing smooth in fair weather ⛵️, contact me for a tarot reading or intuition coaching session to stay awake to your best choices.

Did you know that modern playing cards derive from the Tarot deck? Yup. Hearts are Cups, Spades are Swords, Clubs are Wands, and Diamonds are Pentacles. Take out the Major Arcana and the Pages, and . . . voila . . . we can play gin rummy instead of divining the future.
One primary reason I love Tarot is for the unique art in every deck, and how the cards are a part of centuries of history.
This week, I share a brand new playing card deck in the style of 15th century surrealist Dutch artist, Hieronymous Bosch. His fantastical designs never cease to impress me with their imagination and oddity. This deck is also super fun in that it is a puzzle that fits together into a larger image. Nice work, Sunish with #Guruplayingcards! #Boschcards are Great!
Speaking of fantastic. I love Cats. After years of allergy shots, I can enjoy them more fully. This week’s free reading is inspired by a Cat, and I welcome you to send me a picture of your favorite feline who you would like a reading for on my Instagram page @presentpathtarot.

Alternatively, you can get psychic guidance when you reach out to me for a divination session or to learn the cards for yourself.
One more week in this round of 10% off any session during a Mercury Retrograde, good through June 22nd. Mention it when you reach out to me, or use the code RETRO2021 when you schedule a session.
I hope to see you soon!

It’s become the most infamous of astrological events, the dreaded Mercury Retrograde. (Dun dun dunnnn).
People probably know it so well because it has a short cycle of 88 days, and so it comes around typically 3 times each year for about 3 weeks.
The thing is, it doesn’t have to be a burden if you look a bit closer into how to manage it. Each round has it’s own flairs that you can consider ahead, and sometimes these bring blessings!
My interview with professional astrologer Nicole Garçeau was fun and enlightening.
I learned how we can consider the unique details of each Mercury Retrograde, align our own individual chart with our expectations, and make the most of the positive potentials. And, of course, consider how to shift gears to be ready for the bumps that may come up.
For those that don’t know, I always have a standing offer of 10% off any session during Mercury Retrogrades. Mention it when you reach out to me, or use the code RETRO2021 when you schedule a session.
To tap into your own inner wisdom, sign up for an Intuition Coaching session or package. Alternatively, you can get psychic guidance when you reach out to me for a session.
Rock the Retro!

Channeling takes on many forms. It might be an intuitive moment to turn left, a dance that comes from your body unexpectedly, or a hand on the shoulder of a quiet friend at just the right moment.
The more I became adept at reading tarot cards, the more comfortable I felt channeling in other fields of life. Most graciously, this my opened up my writing to a new realm.
The Tarot helped me step away from the ego of aligning the words as “Mine” and let me be of service to share the messages more freely. Tarot taught me to let the art emerge without editing.
I believe we each can access our higher self through making the art we are called to.
This week, my short YouTube describes how you can use the cards to enhance your stories and relieve your resistance to sit down to write.
Resistance is a common challenge that artists of all sorts face. Even the most famous have had blocked moments.
This week, I ask you to consider what you feel called to create just for the fun of it and where the discomfort is with moving toward that path.
What type of book would you like to write?
What creation feels imminent for you to design in your future?
What holds you back from taking the first step toward this?
Being that it’s nearly Mercury Retrograde, the next few weeks are a great time to reflect on these desires, without any pressure to begin quite yet. Just allow yourself to ponder pleasantly.
For those that don’t know, I always have a standing offer of 10% off any session during Mercury Retrogrades. Mention it when you reach out to me, or use the code RETRO2021 at checkout.
For now, take in a Free Collective Tarot Reading to help you prepare for this round of Mercury Retrograde.

Happy Creating,

I feel like this question could be the new, “What’s your Sign?”
This year has been so full of learning and growth and, yet again, we are collectively entering a new stage of this odd era. Simply shifting into summer at this point feels a bit dramatic.
Tarot is at it’s best when we are in a liminal space between phases of our life. Luckily for readers, these are super common.
One of my favorite groups to read for, who I do a shout out to in this week’s YouTube, are those heading into retirement.
In a sense, this last year has offered many of us a chance to see what we might do with ourselves if we suddenly didn’t have a job. Of course, there were limitations to travel and socializing, which we may hope to enjoy when we each get to hang up our hat at work for good.
However, I personally gained a lot of insights into how I want to spend my time when I have more of it.
Cooking, reading, taking in moments with nature . . . all of these have added value to my experience of life this past year.
What has it been for you? How can this give you a sense of what you really want to become when you shift from your working life into retirement?
I am pretty sure that I want to keep reading tarot and coach intuition as I get older and, praise be, wiser. So who knows if I’ll ever retire fully?
To consider transitions deeper, I offer some thoughts around the Wheel of Fortune, the archetype of change. Enjoy learning about this card while also considering where you’re at in your current swirl of the wheel.
If you want to better access your own certainty during uncertain times, contact me for an Intuition Coaching session or package.
Alternatively, you can get psychic guidance when you reach out to me for a session.
Take care of yourself, wherever you are in your phases.
May all your Transitions Be Smooth,
Jenna Lynne Roberts

Card for the Week: The Wheel of Fortune 🎰⚖️🔮☯️☸️
“When you’re up, you’re up, and when you’re down you’re down you’re down, and when you’re only halfway up, you’re neither up nor down.”
-Grand Old Duke of York
When you go to a meditation 🧘♀️ retreat, you are focusing on the state of constant change. One emotion evolves into another 😩😥🤣 One sensation arises and then passes away. 🤕🤑🤩 The goal is to become detached from the desire to keep the pleasure or release the pain, so we become accepting with things just as they are. 😌☮️
This is the wheel of Dharma ☸️ in Buddhism. In Taoism, the polarity of Yin ☯️ Yang creates balance of that which appears in paradox. In Western antiquity, Lady Fortuna became deified to pray to for good luck.
It ain’t easy. And we all are currently in a collective transition. Limbo hovers on some aspect of most of our lives.
This week, consider how you can find equanimity with some aspect that you have no power over. Maybe say the serenity prayer to yourself. Find a friend who can laugh with you at this patience that’s required of us all. Sit in the paradox of ambiguous feelings that don’t seem to make sense, but do exist simultaneously.
And notice what aspect of transition you’re in right now. Find compassion for the uncertainty that you sit with. Praise yourself for how well you’re managing.
Maybe even sign up for a tarot reading that can help you make more sense of it all.

When we connect deeply with someone, we become tethered energetically. Even after we physically part, there are still tendrils of their imprint entwined with our own.
Energetic self-care is often overlooked. Perhaps because we cannot visually see it, we presume it’s not important. Attending to this aspect of your life can play a major role in healing and aligning with your own sovereign autonomy.
You can clear and replenish your field with this simple and healthy cord cutting technique that I offer in this week’s YouTube. Have a nourishing meal, find a quiet place to be present, optionally bring a candle, and give yourself about 20 minutes to pause and restart the video as you enact each step. Afterward, use epsom salts in the shower or bath to ground and refresh, and continue to self-care in healthy ways.
Afterward, consider trying out this manifestation technique to call in what you desire. Your energy will be more welcoming to find healthier connections, and just in time for the most fertile time of year!
