Free Reading for August

I am excited to share that I was welcomed to teach a course on Tarot through the Cinematic Hero’s Journey at the Northwest Tarot Symposium coming up in the first weekend of September.

I love this topic I am teaching because it combines many of my passions: Movies and Tarot and Storytelling.

Free Reading for August

The 7 of Pentacles reversed is frustrated and dragging energy. You have sweat and toiled over a project that has just not budged. You have worried that it will never be completed. 

Along comes the hero of the Knight of Swords to save it. This character will approach the problem with a problem solving and honest mindset. 

The Knight does not flinch from severing away the dead weight of bad ideas, emotional attachments or other detriments that are holding this project in stasis. 

To call in your own Knight of Swords, you will need to get fully logical and brutally realistic about the mentality that you are ready to overcome in order to move forward. 

The Death Card says that this shift in this project management is bringing with it a powerful transformation for yourself as well. 

It might be that you throw out this effort completely. Consider what you learned and let it go. 

It might be that you internally shift to be able to face the demons that this procrastination has brought up for you. Let go of the parts of you that are lollygagging around and take swift and smart action. 

The choice you make will be bold and a bit uncomfortable, but this experience is relevant to your overarching evolution. 

It will all be worth it when you release yourself from the worry of the 9 of Swords reversed. Notice the relief when you finally break through the cycle that the project has mired in for too long.

Celebrate your accomplishment once you alter your course. You will enjoy the results of your newfound merits.
