Solstice Rituals

We in the Northern hemisphere are tilted toward the sun and have thus returned to the longest day of the year!

This weekend, consider making some time for a ritual to celebrate in the ways our ancestors of various lineages have for many centuries. This has always been a world-wide celebrated event, so it might be fun to look up your own historical practices of your own ancient relations.

Greet the Dawn: take a moment in the morning when you wake up to acknowledge the sun with gratitude for the life it supports

Build a Bonfire: make a (safe) fire or light a candle and celebrate the nature of the Sun’s warmth. You can write an intention of something you are ready to release as we step into the new season and burn it, or perhaps sing a song to the fire.

Gather Herbs: if you have a garden or know a good spot in nature with wild herbs, collect some and cook a meal with them, or dry them for a summer tea.

Feast with Friends: create a potluck with community and share in your wishes for the summer ahead

Wash your Doors: Use a mix of vinegar and water or another natural solution and wash off your doors. You can also use olive oil and draw a protection sigil afterward.

Bring a little extra magic into your summer manifestations when you get a personal tarot reading for insight or an intuition coaching for your own self-trust development.

Celebrate with you closest community when you sign up for a Tarot Together reading.
