Navigate to your best life
It delights me when someone witnesses their own inherent ability to be more psychic.
We all have innate gift, we simply need to learn the ways to better access it.
Today, I offer a free reading in charms with a lesson in interpreting. I will share the message I see, and I also welcome you to answer the questions to sort out your own clarity from the spread.
Also, if you have not yet told me, let me know when you would be most available to join the live online Art of Tarot Course that I will be leading in May.
This winter, the team of professionals at Portlandia Fortune Tellers will lead two-hour lessons in various fields of the esoteric arts.
The 2nd Sunday of every month we will offer classes both online and in-person in Portland.
Times are still to be determined, but mark your calendars for the afternoons on these dates:
Feb 9th: Jenna: Clairvoyance Skills
March 9th: Sacha: Palmistry
April 13th: Anna: Communicate with Your Spirit Guides
May 11th: Lynda: Charms Divination
June 8th: Heather: 4 Pillars of Astrology
My lesson below is a taste of how we can explore intuition coaching when you get a personal session with me.
This is a great time of year to get a personal tarot reading or bring in a companion for a Tarot Together reading.

Before you read my interpretation of this charm casting, I want you to ask yourself the following.
Click or zoom in on the image to make it bigger if you need.
What charm catches your eye first in this spread?
Let yourself linger on the first thing you see and allow clarity to come through without trying too hard at first.
What messages do I see here in word and charm combos?
Some of the charms are unclear. If you misinterpret what a symbol is, no matter. Go with what you see anyhow.
How does each charm interact with the word box(es) it landed on?
How are these words relevant to YOU right now in particular?
How does the alignment or angle or placement of that charm change it’s meaning?
Is it upside down, sideways, or reversed? Does that change how you would consider this symbol’s meaning?
What if the words were gone and it was only charms? How would that add or update the initial reading?
Sometimes we need to just look at the symbols on their own.
Consider these questions for a bit before you read my own take on it.
Jenna’s Charm Reading
I love that the infinity symbol landed right next to “Blessing”, and on a sun. This says that more grace is on it’s way into your life in the days ahead this year.
The first thing that caught my eye was the brain in the bottom right corner of “Family”. It’s flipped over, and I took this as a message to stop overthinking family relationships.
(I also just bought my parents some memory enhancing herbs yesterday, so this might also speak to that for me personally . . . Does it have a unique relevance for you?)
The ear is very close to “Focus”, which reminds me that the art of focus is about listening to yourself and what is happening in the world around you. With how it’s laying flat, I also see this reminding us to lay down and rest and listen to silence to enhance our ability to focus.
That’s after we get our boogie on though! I love that an audio cassette and a dancing fool are flanking the word “Ease”. Dance is incredibly healing, and we need to put on some jams this weekend to let go of the stress more fully.
The owl landed on the line between “Learn” and “Trust”, which seems poignant to it’s own traditional Western meaning. This emphasizes the message that we could perhaps lean into a good teacher or a book of wisdom to gain their insights.
I struggled with the strange circle on the word “Avoid”. Then I realized that the charm itself sort of appears to be a void itself. I flipped it over and the world is on the other side. I take this to mean that we need to stay engaged with our world and not shut it out or become cynical or nihilistic right now. Lean into curiosity for the world around you.
When I look at all the symbols together, I see a positive message about listening and learning and taking in music and dance.
Get out of your head and into your body this weekend!
