Empaths Feel the Feels Fully

Happy Summer Solstice!

Mercury and the Sun entered Cancer at the same time that we enjoy the longest day of the year. We are rounding off the month of June with feelings full and rich.

Here’s a shout out to my fellow tender crab hearts with their Sun, Moon, or Venus in this placement.

A decade ago, when I was lamenting the burden of caring so deeply and feeling so much, my friend Gabriel brought me some comfort.

“If we are the Universe experiencing itself,” he said, “then those who can’t help but feel intensely are likely the most vibrant tendrils of that sensation.”

it is bravery to feel our myriad of emotional wisdom, and this next few weeks is about allowing that vulnerability to express.

Many of us choose to brush aside the uncomfortable inner dialogue and focus on the intellect. This often takes us to a place of logic that seeks blame and rationalization rather than curious inquiry as to why you might hurt or desire or lament.

Some empaths find it safer to simply feel other’s feelings, and then their own hearts swell up and burst forth at times like these.

If you’re one of those types, seek out releases this weekend.

Perhaps enjoy a movie that helps you cry (Joy Luck Club is a favorite of mine), a song that helps you feel (This Feeling by Alabama Shakes taps me in), or a journal session about what is happening for your heart today. Whatever starts the release, let it become about your own experience.

As an empathic tarot reader, I have had to learn to differentiate between what is mine and what is my querent’s. That’s why I do a body scan at the start of a reading, and clear myself after.

Scroll down for a video of how to energetically wash your field after an empathic day.

If it’s a big leap for you to feel the feelings, join me for an intuition coaching so we can help you practice to get aligned with your internal quiet places.

It would be my honor to be present with you during a personal tarot reading, where we can inquire into how you can improve your relationship to your own heart and those hearts around you.

Having a friend to listen in on your life path after you hear their own can be powerful when you enjoy a Tarot Together reading.

Better yet, learn to use the cards for self-inquiry with a Tarot Reading Lesson.

I hope this message today helps you delve into the depths of your own universal self experiencing this life more richly this week.
